Street Outlaws on Discovery Channel
Saturdays at 10PM.
I just started watching this show. I guess it was not available in Canada until Season 4 showed up on Discovery.
But damn ! Do they go all out for these races. Dangerous does not even begin to describe the "street racing" they are showing. Of course there are TV lights and production trucks hidden in the background, and the road is closed, but the races are insane. And you just know that it is even crazier when the cameras are not around.
Makes the old "Pinks" show look like the Disney Channel.
...oh...and the fastest car...Big Chiefs Pontiac Lemans with a Pontiac Twin Turbo from Butler !

Seems Big Chief's 1970 GTO aka "The Crow" has made some improvements lately, after losing last year to his nemesis.

I was wondering what he would do after that loss. Man he has a lot of $$ in that car.

The Crow is now a bird
. Well it's carbonfiber body is anyway. I think he's going to have something for Kye Kelly.

Wow..that did not take long...says he will be able to use The Crow's motor...a Butler/Edelbrock/Quillan compilation.
Still...Even tho I really like the way he sticks with Pontiac, I am not sure how I feel about this car being a ProMod.
The attraction of the show was that the cars had some semblance to "stock" cars, that guys like us could identify with. Not to mention all the ProMod bashing they used to do when one came up against them.
I think they have opened the door for another show to come in and fill the "street car" void they have created.
Wonder what Daddy Dave will build now.
Lots of negative comments at the

Daddy Dave had Goliath 2.0 at the same show. It's pretty much the same as his old car. A grey steel bodied Chevy II with a nitrous fed BBC.
